세린 프로테아제 억제제(SERINK1) 또는 종양 관련 트립신 억제제(TATI)로도 알려진 췌장 분비물 트립신 억제제(PSTI)는 인간에서 스핑크1유전자에 의해 인코딩되는 단백질이다.[5]
스핑크1의 돌연변이는 유전 췌장염과 열대 췌장염과 관련이 있다.트립시노겐은 보통 췌장에 활성 상태의 트립신 zimogen을 생성하여 저장하지만, 때때로 자동으로 활성화된다.PSTI는 효소가 장기에 세포 손상을 일으키는 것을 막기 위해 조기 활성화된 트립신을 분쇄하는 역할을 한다.PSTI의 기능이 없으면 췌장은 반복적으로 손상되는 에피소드를 겪게 된다.[6]pN34S 돌연변이는 특발성 췌장염으로 이어진다.
