컬러 과학 분야에서 저명한 학술지 출판 연구 논문은 1975년 Fred Billmeyer 편집장과 Gunter Wyszecki, Michael Pointer, Rolf Kuehni와 함께 Journal of Color (1964–1974)의 후계자로 설립된 Color Research and ^[1]Application입니다.이전에는 대부분의 컬러 사이언스 작업이 JOSA(Journal of the Optical Society of America), 사진 과학 및 엔지니어링(1957-1984) 및 Journal of the Society of Dyers and Colorists(2001년 컬러레이션 테크놀로지로 이름 변경됨)와 같이 초점이 더 넓거나 부분적으로 겹치는 저널로 나뉘었습니다.
