오스트레일리아 우주위원회는 1986년부터 1994년 호주 우주 위원회에 의해 대체될 때까지 오스트레일리아 국가 우주 프로그램 계획의 일부를 구성하는 위원회였다.

위원회의 역할은 산업기술통상부 장관에게 국가우주계획에 대해 조언하는 것이었다.

이사회는 장관이 임명한 5명의 위원으로 구성됐으며 호주 우주국은 당연직 위원이다.[4]: p. 2 후에 CSIRO 우주 과학 애플리케이션 사무소도 회원이 되었다.[5]
