홈팟은 애플사가 개발한 스마트 스피커 시리즈입니다. Apple Music 구독 서비스와 함께 작동하도록 설계된 홈팟은 빔포밍과 8개의 스피커가 통합되어 있으며 화이트와 미드나잇의 두 가지 색상으로 판매됩니다.[3][4] 2020년에 출시된 더 작고 저렴한 변종인 홈팟 미니와 함께 판매됩니다.

1세대 홈팟은 2017년 6월 5일 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference에서 발표되었습니다.[5][6] 계획된 12월 출시가 지연되었습니다.[6][7] 애플은 2018년 1월 26일부터 주문을 받기 시작했고, 2018년 2월 9일에 출시했습니다.[8] 홈팟은 가격대의 다른 스피커에 비해 디자인과 음질이 뛰어나다는 평가를 받았고, 타사의 지원이 부족하고 다른 스마트 스피커에 비해 가격이 비싸다는 비판을 받는 등 엇갈린 평가를 받았습니다. 1세대 홈팟은 2018년 8월까지 약 100만~300만 대가 판매되었습니다. 2021년 3월 12일 단종되었습니다.[9]

1세대

홈팟은 둥글고 원통형이며 상단에 작은 터치스크린이 있습니다. 7개의 트위터와 상단을 향한 4인치 우퍼(애플은 Hz 주파수 범위를 지정하지 않음), 음성 제어 및 음향 최적화에 사용되는 6개의 마이크가 있습니다. 시스템 온 어 칩은 애플이 이전에 애플 TV HD, 아이팟 터치(6세대), 아이패드 미니 4, 아이폰 6/6 플러스에 포함시킨 애플 A8입니다.[11][12]
