사용자는 월렛 앱 내에서 직접 애플 카드를 신청할 수 있다.[10][11]승인 시 모든 사용자의 장치에서 즉시 디지털 애플 카드를 사용할 수 있게 된다.사용자들은 또한 비접촉식 결제를 받지 않는 장소에서 사용할 물리적 카드를 주문할 수 있다.[12]

물리적 카드는 앞에 숫자가 표시되지 않고 대신 사용자들은 애플페이를 받지 않는 웹사이트와 앱의 16자리 가상 카드 번호를 받는다.[13]애플 카드 세부 정보는 사용자의 아이클라우드 키체인에서 액세스할 수 있으며 온라인 양식으로 자동 입력될 수 있다.[14]

티타늄 카드

물리적 카드를 이용한 정기 구매는 1%를, 애플페이로 구매는 2%를, 애플스토어와 엄선된 파트너는 3%를 각각 벌어들인다.적격 구매에 대한 캐시백은 고객의 Apple Cash 계정에 입금되거나 전표 크레딧으로 적용된다.[20][21][22]

수수료

애플카드는 연체, 외국거래, 반납금, 연간 카드수수료를 부과하지 않지만, 잔액과 교환수수료를 판매업자에게 부과할 때는 이자수수료를 발생시킨다.[23][11]

카드관리

월렛 앱은 애플카드 거래를 카테고리별로 취합해 주간 및 월간 활동 요약을 제공한다.[15]Apple Maps는 (사용 가능한 경우) 가맹점에 색상 코드 카테고리, 지도 위치 및 연락처 세부 정보를 제공하는 데 사용된다.[24]

은행 컨설팅 회사인 코너스톤 어드바이저스의 론 셰블린에 따르면, 2020년 3월 현재 약 310만 명의 미국인들이 애플 카드를 가지고 있다.애플카드 이용자 10명 중 6명이 1차 신용카드로 사용하고 있다.[33][34]
