브린키르 역은 웨일즈 귀네드주 브린키르 마을의 서쪽 가장자리에 있는 카나본셔 철도에 의해 문을 열었다.

이 역은 많이 이용되지는 않았지만, 두 개의 승강장이 있었고, 단선이었던 노선이 짧은 거리를 [6]왕복하는 교차로였기 때문에 폐쇄될 때까지 문을 열었고, 기관차가 물탱크를 [7]보충할 수 있는 시설도 갖추고 있었다.

1866년 9월 6일 정식 [8][9]개업 전 역에서 승객과 관련된 사고가 발생했다.

이 역은 1935년부터 1939년까지 LMS 캐러밴의 호스트였다.캠핑 코치도 [10]1954년부터 1955년까지 런던 미들랜드 지역에 배치되었습니다.

노선과 역은 Beeching Report에서 권장한 대로 1964년 12월 7일에 폐쇄되었다.
