샤미시

In Mandaeism, Shamish or Šamiš (Classical Mandaic: ࡔࡀࡌࡉࡔ) is the Mandaic name for the Sun.^[1]샤미쉬(Shamish)는 일곱 개의 행성 중 하나이며,^[2]^[3] 어둠의 세계에서 루하의 수행원 중 한 명이다.

샤미쉬는 우트라 야와르 지와와 시맛 하이아와 관련이 있다.그는 또한 요한복음 ^[4]52장에 자세히 기술되어 있는 우트라 유바와 동일시 된다.

우긴자에서 야즈카에인(조로아스터인)은 미트라에 ^[5]대한 암시인 샤미쉬와 관련이 있다.

어원학

샤미쉬의 이름은 '태양'을 뜻하는 셈어 어근인 'sh-m-sh'에서 유래했다.샤미쉬는 아카드 ^[6]샤마시족과도 관련이 있다.
