복은 달의 저편에 위치한 달 충돌 분화구다.남동쪽에는 분화구 스나이드키(Snadecki)가 있고, 북쪽에는 맥켈라(McKellar)가 있고, 서쪽에는 드 브리스(De Vries)가 있다.

복의 테두리는 정리가 잘 되어 있고 크게 침식되어 있지 않다.내벽은 중앙점 부근의 중앙봉이 있는 거의 수평의 내부 바닥까지 완만하게 경사져 있다.북서쪽 벽을 따라 안쪽이 약간 불룩하다.

위성 분화구

관례에 따라, 이러한 특징들은 달 지도에서 복과 가장 가까운 분화구 중간 지점의 측면에 글자를 배치함으로써 확인된다.
