바클라는 달의 동쪽 사지 근처에 있는 달 충돌 분화구다.저명한 분화구 랑그레누스의 동쪽에 위치하고 있으며, 이전에는 랑그레누스 A로 지정되어 있다가 1979년 IAU에 의해 개명되었다.[1]바클라의 동쪽으로는 카프틴이 있는데, 비슷한 크기로 조금 더 큰 형태일 뿐이다.바클라의 남서쪽은 라메 분화구다.

바클라의 테두리는 북동쪽과 남서쪽으로 약간 길쭉하지만, 거의 원형이다.그 벽은 이후의 충돌로 인한 침식의 모습을 거의 보이지 않으며, 어떤 분화구에도 의해 겹치지 않는다.바닥의 중간 지점에는 중앙 봉우리가 있는데, 이것은 남쪽과 북동쪽으로 이어지는 낮은 능선을 잇는다.
