브래그(Bragg)는 북서쪽 사지 바로 너머 달 저편에 위치한 고대 달 충돌 분화구다.이 형성은 크게 침식되고 이후의 충격에 의해 재편되어 표면에 불규칙한 우울증을 남겼다.림의 가장 온전한 부분은 서쪽 얼굴을 따라 있으며, 북쪽과 동쪽 림은 거의 마모되어 몇 개의 작은 분화구가 겹쳐져 있다.이 중 가장 눈에 띄는 것은 동남동쪽 림을 가로지르는 브래그 H이다.

이 분화구는 벽으로 된 평원 로렌츠의 북북서쪽에 위치해 있다.인근에는 북쪽으로는 랴닌, 북서쪽으로는 스테판, 서쪽으로는 라치니, 남동쪽으로는 아비케나 등이 있다.이 분화구 주변의 지역은 매우 험준하고 많은 작은 충돌로 특징지어진다.

관례에 따라 이러한 특징들은 달 지도에서 Bragg에 가장 가까운 분화구 중간 지점의 측면에 글자를 배치함으로써 확인된다.
