버클랜드(Birkeland)는 달의 저편에 있는 남반구에 놓여 있는 달 충돌 분화구다.이 분화구는 Van de Graaff 분화구 형성의 중앙 허리에 부착되어 있으며, 부분적으로 그 분화구의 형상-8을 설명할 수 있다.남동쪽으로는 성벽이 있는 큰 평원 라이프니츠가 있다.

이 분화구는 크게 침식되지 않았으며, 외벽은 내부 대부분 주변에 잘 변형된 내부 벽으로 잘 정의되어 있다.테두리는 반 드 그라프 형성에 붙어 있는 북쪽을 따라 약간 안쪽으로 돌출되어 있다.일부 거친 지형이 있는 남동쪽을 제외하고는 내부 바닥이 비교적 평평하다.중간 지점에 중앙 봉우리가 형성되어 있다.

위성 분화구

관례에 따라 이러한 특징들은 달 지도에서 비르클랜드에 가장 가까운 분화구 중간 지점의 측면에 글자를 배치함으로써 확인된다.
