1992년 미국 하원의원 선거는 1992년 대통령 선거와 동시에 치러진 선거에서 민주당클린턴이 현 공화당 대통령인 조지 H. W. 부시누르고 대통령에 당선되었다.

그러나 이에도 불구하고 민주당은 1990년 인구총조사 이후 선거구 조정으로 하원 9석을 공화당에 빼앗겼다.그럼에도 불구하고 민주당은 미국 역사상 차기 대통령의 정당이 하원에서 의석을 상실한 몇 안 되는 시간 중 하나였지만 하원과 상원에서 과반 의석을 유지했다.

이 선거는 1990년 인구총조사에 근거해 도출된 최초의 선거구였다.재선거된 지역구는 투표권법에 의해 의무화된 다수결 지역구가 증가한 것으로 두드러졌다.1980년 인구조사에서 흑인이 다수인 17개구와 히스패닉계가 다수인 10개구가 [1]나왔지만 1990년 이후에는 각각 32개구와 19개구가 뽑혔다.

2021년 현재 로드아일랜드에서 공화당이 하원 의석을 차지한 것은 이번이 마지막이다.
