콰켄부시 하우스(Quackenbush House)는 뉴욕 주 올버니에 있는 역사적인 건물이다. 약 1736년에 지어진 2중음 게이블 지붕의 집이다.[2] 1972년 국립 사적지 목록에 등재되었다.[1]

역사

1890년에 본 콰켄부시 하우스는 이후 우측의 건물들이 I-787의 출구 경사로로 대체되었다.[3]

1730년대에 지어진 콰켄부시 하우스는 최근까지도 알바니시에서 가장 오래된 집과 구조물로 여겨졌다. 그러나, 최근 허드슨 가 48개가 빠르면 1728년에 지어졌을지도 모른다는 사실이 밝혀졌다.[4][5] 콰켄부시 하우스는 원래 당시 [6]패트로온 거리였던 클린턴 애비뉴에 둥안 헌장이 세운 알바니 시의 시 경계를 넘어 있었다.[7] 1812년에 도시는 콰켄부시 집을 포함한 북쪽의 땅을 합병할 것이다.[8] 이 건물에는 니콜의 비스트로(1995–2008), 르 카나르 엔체네(2008–2009) 등 두 곳의 프랑스 식당이 자리잡고 있다.[9] 오늘날 이 건물에는 영국식 펍인 올드 잉글리시 펍과 팬트리([10]The Olde English Pub and Pantry가 있다. 현재 그 식당의 우편 주소는 25 콰켄부시 광장이다.[11] 또한 콰켄부시 광장에는 선물 가게와 헨리 허드슨 플라네타리움, 알바니 카운티 컨벤션 및 방문국이 있는 알바니 헤리티지 지역 방문객 센터가 있다.[12]
