Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema

아시아 시네마 진흥 네트워크(NETPAC)는 29개 회원국으로 구성된 세계적인 조직이다. 1990년 아시아 영화 계간지 시네마야뉴델리에서 개최한 아시아 영화 콘퍼런스의 결과, 유네스코 파리 지원으로 만들어졌다.

싱가포르에 본부를 두고 있는 NETPAC은 영화 교육자뿐만 아니라 비평가, 영화제작자, 영화제 기획자 및 큐레이터, 배급자, 전시자, 영화 교육자 등이 참여하는 범아시아적인 영화 문화 단체다. 그것은 아시아 영화의 주도적인 권위자로 여겨진다. 1990년부터는 국제영화제의 아시아 섹션을 프로그래밍하고, 아시아에서 온 영화인들을 세계에 소개하며, 아시아 각국에 있는 기존 영화 인프라에 대한 개요를 발표하고, 세미나와 컨퍼런스를 조직하고, 싱가포르, 부산, 전주, 케랄라와 같은 영화제에서 최우수 아시아 영화상을 제정하였다. 아시아 국가 중 카자흐스탄과 오시안 시네판, 베를린, 로카르노, 카를로비 바리, 로테르담, 베술 등 유럽 국가들, 호주 브리즈번, 미국 하와이, 터키 안탈리아, 에스토니아 블랙 나이트 등.

NETPAC상은 아시아 영화를 홍보하기 위해 엄선된 국제 영화제에서 특별한 영화들을 조명하고 새로운 재능을 발견함으로써 아시아 영화들을 홍보하기 위해 수여된다. 이 상을 여러 번 수상한 영화제작자 중에는 스리랑카의 프라산나 비타나게(7회)가 있다. 중국의 왕샤오슈아이(스라이스)와 하오제(스라이스), 필리핀의 라브 디아즈(스라이스)와 브릴란테 멘도사(스라이스), 말레이시아의 호유항(스라이스); 한국의 김기덕(스라이스), 전수일(스라이스), 이해준(스라이스) 등 4명. 인도의 아두오르 고팔락리슈난(두 번), 비주 박사(2번), 샤이마프라사드(두 번), P. 셰샤드리(두 번); 인도네시아의 가린 누그로호(2회)와 리리 리자(2회) Iran's Rakhshān Banietemad (twice); Japan's Hiromasa Hirosue (twice) and Sion Sono (twice); Kazakhstan's Adilkhan Yerzhanov (thrice), Serik Aprymov (twice), Rustem Abdrashov (twice), Emir Baigazin (twice), and Nariman Turebayev (twice); Kyrgyzstan's Marat Sarulu (twice); 네팔의 케상 세텐 라마 (두 번); 싱가포르의 부쥔펑(두 번), 로이스턴 탄(두 번), 칸 뤼메(두 번). 대만의 도제 니우(두 번), 태국 나와폴 탐롱라타나리트(두 번).
