힌두교는 이란에서 작은 종교이다.2015년 현재 이란에는 [1]3만9200명의 힌두교도가 거주하고 있다.
19세기 말 인도 상인들의 [2][3]자금 지원을 받은 반다르 압바스와 자헤단 등 두 개의 힌두 사원이 아리아 사마지에 의해 지어졌다.
A.C. Bhaktivedanta 스와미 프라부파다는 1976년에 테헤란을 여행했다.1977년부터 ISKCON은 [4]테헤란에서 채식 레스토랑을 운영하고 있다.
