서부 해군 사령부는 인도 [4]해군의 세 가지 지휘 체계 중 하나이다.본사는 마하라슈트라주 뭄바이에 있습니다.3개 [5]편대 중 상급편대인 이 사령부는 아라비아해와 인도양 서부의 모든 해군 전력과 인도 서해안의 해군 시설을 책임지고 있습니다.

역사

1947년 8월 15일 독립과 인도의 분할 이후, 인도 해군의 배와 인원은 인도령과 파키스탄령으로 나뉘었다.함대의 3분의 2는 인도로, 3분의 1은 파키스탄으로 [8]나눠졌다.해군 해상 함대 사령관인 인도 해군 함대를 지휘하는 해군 소장(RACINS)과 서해안의 해안 시설을 지휘하는 1성급 장교인 봄베이 사령관이 임명됐다.1952년 5월 1일 인도 해군 함대를 지휘하는 해군 소장이 인도 [9]함대 기수(플로티야)로 재지명되었다.

1957년 12월 30일, 기수 지휘관(플로티야스) 사무소는 인도 함대를 지휘하는 기수(FOCIF)로 재지정되었고, 해안 시설의 지휘권은 1958년 [10]6월 2성 기수 봄베이(FOB)로 승격되었다.FOCIF와 FOB는 해군참모총장에게 보고했다.1968년 3월 1일 FOB는 해군 부제독 삼성으로 격상되었고 서부 해군사령부(FOC-in-C WNC)로 재지정되었다.인도 함대는 FOC-in-C [11][5]WNC에 보고하는 서부 함대를 지휘하는 깃발 장교(FOCWF)와 함께 서부 함대로 개명되었다.

담당 분야

서부해군사령부는 인도 해군의 칼부림이며 서부 해안에서 진행되는 해군 작전은 파키스탄과의 해상 충돌의 핵심이 될 것이다.서부함대는 서부해군사령부의 2성급 작전 편대이다.뭄바이와 카르워를 모항으로 사용하고 있으며, 뭄바이에 본사가 있는 INS Kunjali가 있습니다.WNC의 함대는 마하라슈트라 지역(FOMA)에 주둔하고 있으며 파키스탄과 인접한 민감한 북아랍해에서 해군 방어를 제공하고 있다.대규모 해군기지인 INS 카담바는 Seabird 프로젝트에 따라 건설되어 2005년에 완공되었다.카르나타카의 카르와르에 있는 이 해군 기지는 인도 [4]해군이 독점적으로 사용하고 있다.

기능

서부 함대의 주력 항공모함은 INS 비크라마디트이다.WNC는 잠수함 펜, 캐리어 독, 유지보수 독을 갖추고 있습니다.서부함대 항공모함전투단은 비크라마디티야, 델리급 구축함, 탈와르급 프리깃함, 브라흐마푸트라급 프리깃함, 인도 해군의 신형 구축함[12], 신드후고시급 잠수함 등으로 구성된다.해군 항공기는 미그-29K 전투기와 공중조기경보카모프 Ka-31 헬기가 제공한다.

서부 해안의 본격적인 조선 시설로는 뭄바이의 마자곤 도크 리미티드, 고아 조선소 리미티드, 인도 최대의 수리 드라이 도크인 케랄라의 코친 조선소가 있다.
