AM-6795-Lipoxygenase 활성 단백질(FLAP)의 선택적 억제제 역할을 하는 약물이다.이 단백질은 염증에 관여하는 시스틸비닐 백혈구아렌의 생산에 관여하고 있으며, AM-679는 동물 연구에서 항염증 효과가 있다.[1][2]
