런포스는 캐나다 온타리오 주의 미시소가와 토론토 시의 경계에 있는 버스 정류장으로,[2][3] 계획 중 렌포스는 캐나다 온타리오 주의 미스소가와 토론토 시의 경계에 있는 버스 정류장이다.[4] 에글린튼 애비뉴와 커머스 대로에 위치하고 있으며 미시소가 트랜짓웨이의 동쪽 종착역이며 401번 고속도로와 427번 고속도로의 교차로에 가깝다.

서비스는 미시사가 트랜짓웨이, 지역 미웨이 및 토론토 트랜짓 커미션(TTC) 버스 노선, 401번 고속도로/407번 고속도로 복도의 GO 트랜짓 익스프레스 노선, 427번 고속도로를 경유하는 키플링 지하철역과의 고속 연결로 구성된다.[4][5]

계획 및 시공

렌포스 부지는 2012년 메트로린x에 의해 고속 환승과 지역 버스 서비스를 통합하는 교통 이동 중심지로 확인되었다.[6]

이 역의 건설은 2014년에 시작되었다.[7] 렌포스와 에글린튼의 북서쪽 모퉁이에 위치한 옛 TTC 버스 루프는 해체되어 그 자리에 통합되었다.[8]

미래선 5호선 에글린턴

메트로린x가 소유한 대부분 지하 경전철 중계선이자 현재 토론토 에글린턴 가를 따라 건설 중인 토론토 지하철의 일부인 5호선 에글린튼(크로스타운 웨스트 익스텐션)의 2단계 구간이 렌포스 역까지 연장돼 종착역이 된다. LRT 스테이션은 환승역 바로 북쪽에 위치한 표면에 위치할 것이다. 2021년 12월 중순, 향후 역세권의 발사대에서 에글린튼을 따라 동쪽으로 쌍둥이 터널을 뚫을 터널 지루 기계(TBM) 일부가 도착하여 굴착이 시작되기 전에 조립할 예정이다.[9]

제안된 3단계 노선은 토론토 피어슨 국제 공항 터미널 1과 3의 북쪽에 위치한 Pearson Regional Transit Centre에서 종료되는 북쪽으로 확장될 것이다.[10] 중간 프로젝트로서, 공항까지의[11] 미래 전용 버스 전용 차선을 위해 토지가 보존되어 왔다.
