mRNA 해독 단백질 3의 엔한서는 인간에게 EDC3 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질이다.^[5]^[6]^[7]

EDC3는 5-프라임 엔드에서의 성능 저하에 앞서 mRNA에서 5-프라임 캡을 제거하는 데 필요한 mRNA 결정 복합체와 관련된다(Fenger-Gron et al., 2005).[OMIM에 의해 제공]^[7]
