건설역사학회

건설역사학회(The Construction History Society of America)는 건설사의 국제적 연구를 촉진하는 학식사회다.[1][2] 영국에 기반을 두고 있지만, 그것은 모든 나라의 건설 역사와 특히 그러한 역사가 어떻게 상호 연관되는지에 관심이 있다. 주요 목적은 건설회사와 개인의 주요 기록 보존이다.[3] 사회는 매년 두 번씩 동료 검토 저널인 건설사, 그리고 잡지인 건설사학자를 가능한 한 빨리 출판한다. 이 단체는 케임브리지 대학에서 연례 회의를 주최하고 전세계 자매결연 단체들이 참여할 경우 3년마다 열리는 회의를 지원한다.

이 협회는 약 350명의 회원을 두고 있으며, 세계 각지에서 뽑혔으며, 이사회에 의해 관리되고 있으며, 이들 모두는 자유롭게 시간을 보낸다. 이 협회는 등록된 자선단체로, 등록된 주소는 케임브리지 대학 건축미술사학과다.

역사

협회는 1983년 건설사학회로 결성되었으나, 이후 건설사학회로 명칭을 변경하였다. 2014년, 2015년, 2016년 퀸즈 칼리지, 케임브리지 대학교에서 건축사를 주제로 한 3개의 국제 컨퍼런스를 후원하고 케임브리지 건축대학원의 지원을 받아왔다.[4][5][6] 그 협회는 등록된 자선단체다.[1]

회장은 케임브리지 대학의 제임스 W.P. 캠벨 박사다.[7]

저널

이 협회는 1985년부터[9] 예술 및 인문학적 인용 지수,[10] SCOPUS, 과학의 웹에서 추상화 및 색인화된 동료 검토 저널인 '건설 역사'를 발간하고 있다.[8][11]
