콤팩트 모듈러 아키텍처(CMA)[7]는 볼보와 겔리가 중국 유로 자동차 기술 AB(CEVT) 연구개발 배너 아래 공동 개발한 글로벌 중형 유니바디 자동차 플랫폼이다.[8][9][10]

개발은 2013년 유연성이 높은 차량 플랫폼을 생산한다는 목표에서 시작됐다.[11] 프론트 휠 중심과 페달 박스 사이의 거리만 고정되어 있을 뿐, 다른 모든 것은 의도된 차량 설계에 적합하도록 구성할 수 있다.[12][3]

이 플랫폼은 볼보 XC40이 출시되면서 2017년 9월 첫 선을 보였다. XC40의 CMA 플랫폼 구성에는 터보차지 및 자연 흡기 변형이 있는 1.5L의 새로운 3기통 엔진이 탑재된다.[13] 이 플랫폼은 또한 74 bhp 전기 모터로 보완된 180 bhp가 가능한 플러그인 하이브리드 구성을 수용할 것이다.[13]

적용들

컴팩트 모듈러 아키텍처 플랫폼은 중국 스타트업 린크앤코와도 공유된다.[14] Lynk & Co 01 SUV는 여러 Lynk & Co 모델 중 CMA 플랫폼에 의해 지지될 첫 번째 모델이 될 것이다.[15]

볼보는 2019년 CMA 플랫폼을 기반으로 첫 완전 전기차 폴리스타2를 출시했다.[16]
