아메리카 컵 명예의 전당
America's Cup Hall of Fame미국 로드아일랜드 브리스톨의 헤레스호프 해양 박물관에 위치한 아메리카컵 명예의 전당은 아메리카컵 요트 경기에서 뛰어난 업적을 이룬 개인들을 기립니다.검토 대상에는 선장, 애프터 가드, 승무원, 설계자, 건설업자, 주최자, 신디케이트 매니저, 후원자, 연대기, 경주 매니저 및 기타 [1]유공자가 포함된다.전 아메리카컵 선수, 요트 역사학자, 요트 기자 등으로 구성된 22명의 선발위원회가 매년 1~4명의 수상자를 선정한다.롤렉스, 루이비통, 프라다는 명예의 전당 헌액식의 후원자였다.
헤레스호프 해양 박물관의 한 부서인 명예의 전당 박물관은 헌액자들의 명판과 아메리카컵과 관련된 [2]유물들의 상설적이고 임시적인 전시를 특징으로 한다.이 박물관의 도서관에는 아메리카컵과 요트 역사에 관한 가장 큰 원고와 서적들이 소장되어 있다.
역사
핼시 C. 헤레스호프 해양 박물관의 전 회장이자 아메리카컵 3회 우승자인 헤레스호프는 [3]1992년에 명예의 전당을 설립했습니다.이듬해 9월 18일 헤레스호프 해양 박물관에서 18명의 "차터" 입상자가 수상되었습니다.그 이후로, 90명 이상의 헌액자들이 명예의 전당에 입성했다.
