마이크로메타라이트지구 대기권 진입에서 살아남은 마이크로메타로이드이다.보통 지구 표면에서 발견되는, 미세 운석은 크기가 작고, 더 풍부하고, 구성이 다르다는 점에서 운석과 다르다.국제천문연맹은 공식적으로 운석을 30마이크로미터에서 1미터로 정의한다. 즉, 운석은 그 범위의 작은 끝(약 1밀리미터)[1]이다.그것들은 작은 행성간 먼지 입자(IDP)[2]도 포함하는 우주 먼지의 부분집합이다.

미세 운석의 외계 기원은 다음과 같은 사실을 보여주는 미세 분석에 의해 결정됩니다.

미세 운석은 심해 퇴적물, 퇴적암, 극지방 퇴적물에서 채취되었다.이전에는 지구 표면의 농도가 낮기 때문에 극지방의 눈과 얼음에서 주로 채취했지만, 2016년에는 도시 환경에서[19] 미세 운석을 추출하는 방법이 발견되었다.[20]

해양 퇴적물

마이크로메타라이트의 분류 및 기원

분류
