메바람은 인도의 케랄라 주에 있는 콜람 시의 이웃이자 분기점이다.국도 66호선의 일부를 이루는 콜람 우회도로는 메바람 분기점에서 시작된다.[1][2]메바람은 콜람 시영 주식회사의 국경에 위치해 있다.콜람 시의 남쪽 끝이다.

메바람은 초특급 병원이 많아 현재 콜람시의 핫플레이스가 되고 있다.Travancore Medicity Medical College, Meditrina Hospital (Kollam's tertiary care hospital), N. S. Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences (South Kerala's largest co-operative hospital), N.S Ayurveda Hospital, Ashtamudi Hospital & Trauma Care Centre (an initiative from a group of doctors) are hospitals in the Mevaram-Ayathil stretch.
