데마레스트 역은 미국 뉴저지 주 버겐 카운티 데마레스트에 위치해 있다.이 역의 창고는 2004년 7월 7일 국립 사적지 등록부에 추가되었다.

역사

이 역은 건축가 J. 클리블랜드 캐디가 설계했으며 1872년 뉴저지 노던 철도에 건설되었다.이 역은 랠프 S 상원의원의 이름을 따서 지어졌다.철도청장이었고 역이 건설된 땅을 소유했던 데마레스트.데마레스트 자치구는 1903년에 설립되었을 때 그 이름을 받아들였다.[7][8]이 창고는 1977년 데마레스트 자치구에서 매입해 노인회관으로 사용되고 있다.가장 민주적인 역사학회는 또한 그 저장소를 사용한다.

그 창고는 현재 2002년에 시작된 보수공사의 마지막 단계를 진행 중이다.[9]

그 역의 여객 서비스는 1966년에 끝났다.철도 노선은 CSX 북부 지부의 일부로 여전히 화물 운송에 사용된다.
