Cyrus the Great Day (Persian: روز کوروش بزرگ, romanized: ruz-e kuroš-e bozorg) is an unofficial Iranian holiday that takes place on the seventh day of Aban, the eighth month of the Solar Hijri calendar (October 29th on the Gregorian calendar), to commemorate Cyrus the Great, the founder of the ancient Achaemenid Persian Empire.

준수의 역사

사이러스 더 그레이트 데이는 2000년대[2] 초 인터넷과 소셜 네트워킹 웹사이트에 소개된 발명된 전통이다.[3] 일부 역사적 기록에 따르면 10월 29일은 네오바빌론 제국이 오피스 전투에서 아차메니드 페르시아인들에게 함락된 후 키로스가 바빌론에 들어간 날이었다.[4] 이 명절은 이란 민족주의자들과 군주제주의자들이 이란의 이슬람 이전의 역사에 경의를 표하기 위해 지낸다. [5]

2016년 10월 28일(이란과 그레고리안 달력에서 윤년이 겹치면서) 연휴가 발생했고, 금요일(이란에서는 이슬람의 의의상 공식 주말)에 떨어졌다.[4] 이에 따라 파사르가데의 키루스 무덤에는 이날을 기념하고 민족주의 구호를 외치는 전국 수천 명의 인파가 몰렸다.[2] 쿠르드족과 이란계 아랍인을 포함한 유목민, 부족민, 소수민족들이 전통 민족 복장을 하고 기념행사에 참석했다.[2] 관람객들에 따르면 이날 참석은 전례가 없던 일로, 무덤으로 향하는 도로에는 큰 차량 정체가 빚어진 것으로 알려졌다.[4]

비공식적인 2017년 추산에 따르면, 참석자는 1만 5천명에서 2만명 사이라고 한다.[8]

그 집회는 결국 지배적인 이슬람 신정치에 반대하는 시위로 바뀌었다. 이란 시위자들 보도에 따르면"아니 가자 지구, 팔레스타인, 우리는 오직 이란에 대해 우리 자신을 희생한다!"[9][10][11]"이란은 우리 조국, 사이러스는 우리 아빠"과“성직 규칙 유일한 폭정만 전쟁과 같은 것을 의미,”뿐만 아니라“사상의 자유 수염을 기르가 이루어질 수 있을 것” 슬로건들 사이의 아마추어 비디오에 너뭈던 거를 외쳤다.cial 미디어.[8][12]

로이터통신에 따르면 시위대는 반(反)아랍과 친샤 구호를 외쳤다. 한 사법부 관계자는 이 행사의 주최자가 체포되었다고 말했다.[13]

2017년 정부 단속

2017년 10월 파르스성 문화재, 수공예관광부 현지 당국의 공식 성명이 소셜미디어에 게재돼 유포되면서 2017년 10월 27~30일 사이 키루스 무덤이 이란 대중에게 폐쇄될 것이라고 선언했다. 그러나 행안부장은 휴일로 이어지는 며칠 동안 무덤을 폐쇄할 계획이 전혀 없다고 공식적으로 부인했다.[8]

이어 파사르가드 카운티로 통하는 모든 도로는 이란 당국에 의해 폐쇄됐으며, 이란 당국은 셧다운 이유로 '옹호 공사'를 들었다. 파사르가대 묘소 주변에는 울타리가 쳐져 있었고 이 지역에는 준군사 바시즈 부대가 주둔하여 훈련을 실시하였다. 이란 사법부의 대변인은 정보부가 키루스 대제의 날에 '불법 집회' 계획을 차질시켰다고 밝혔다.[14]
