교육도시

교육도시 뉴 찬디가르는 1700에이커에 분포하고 있으며 대학과 교육기관이 캠퍼스를 갖도록 개발되었다.[12]기술 및 미래 트렌드 대학 연구소는 뉴 찬디가르 11구역에 위치해 있다.[13]

메디시티

메디시티 오브 뉴 찬디가르는 타타 기념 센터의 호미 하바 암 병원과 연구 센터 100개의 침대가 있으며 50에이커에 걸쳐 분포되어 있다.[14][15][16]줄기세포센터도 건설 중이다.[17]Mohali 6단계 시민병원과 연결된 B.R. Ambedkar State 의학 연구소의 계획이 있다.[18]몇몇 유기농 농장들은 또한 도시에 위치해 있다.[19]
