키너는 1960년 7월 4일에 태어났다.[1] 그는 파리 7대학에서 박사학위를 받은 메딘 무사영아 키너와 결혼했다.[2] 그와 그의 아내에게는 데이빗과 케렌이라는 두 아이가 있다.[3]

교육.

1982년 키너는 중앙성경대학(현재의 에반젤대학 일부)에서 학사학위를 받았다. 그는 1982년과 M학위를 받았다.1987년 신학대학원(현 에반게르대)에서 신학대학원(현 에반게르대)을 졸업했다. 1991년에는 듀크 대학교에서 신약성경학과 기독교 기원 박사학위를 받았다.[2]

경력

키너 교수는 동부대학교 팔머신학대학원 신약성서 교수로 15년 가까이 재직했다. 그전까지는 후드신학대학 교수였다.[2] 키너 교수는 2011년부터 아스베리신학대 신약성서(F.M., Ada Thompson) 교수로 재직하고 있다.[2] 키너는 여러 나라, 특히 아프리카의 여러 나라에서 가르쳤다.[2]
