아조엔 /ˈɑːhoho.iːn/은 마늘(Alium sativum) 추출물에서 발견되는 유기황 화합물이다. 황산화물과 이황화 기능군을 함유한 무색 액체다. 이름[1](그리고 발음)은 스페인어로 마늘을 뜻하는 '아조(ajo)'에서 유래되었다. 중심 알켄(E- vs Z-)의 입체화학성, 황산화황(R- vs S-)의 치례성 측면에서 차이가 있는 최대 4개의 스테레오이오머가 혼합되어 발견된다.
역사와 합성
아조네의 구조가 결정되어 1984년 생합성학적 고려사항을 바탕으로 합성되어 1983년에 발표된 잘못된 구조를 수정하였다.[1][2] 지난 2018년 위스와 동료들이[3] 짧고 확장 가능한 총합성 ajoene을 보고했고, 2017년에는 difluoralicin에서 삼불화합성을 생물학적으로 모델링한 것이 발표됐다.[4] 다양한 아조네 유사성의 합성물도 보고되었다.[5] 아조네의 화학 작용은 광범위하게 조사되어 왔다.[1][6][7][8][9]
마늘을 으깨거나 잘게 썰면 알리신이 분비되는데, 식용유를 비롯한 각종 용매에 원료가 용해되면 아조네가 후속적으로 형성된다. 아조네는 마늘 추출물에서도 발견된다. 아조네는 가장 안정적이고 마늘(식용 기름에 잘게 썬 마늘)이 가장 풍부하다.
ajoene을 형성하는 반응 순서(도표에서 2개)는 알리신의 두 분자를 포함한다. 먼저 알리신 분자 1개(도표에서 1개)가 조각되어 2-프로펜황산과 티오아크로레인을 형성한다. 이 두 가지는 결합한 티오로지 중간을 통해 다른 알리신 분자와 별개의 단계에서 반응한다.[1]
약효
아조네는 여러 가지 약용법이 있다.[3][5][9] 과산화수소의 방출을 억제해 항산화제 역할을 한다. 아조네는 항혈전(항복) 특성도 갖고 있어 혈액 속의 혈소판이 혈전을 형성하는 것을 방지해 인간의 심장병과 뇌졸중의 위험을 잠재적으로 줄여준다. Ajoene은 복막염, 백신, 인간 라이노바이러스 파라인플루엔자, 단순포진 등 다수의 바이러스에 대해 잠재적인 바이러스성 특성을 보였다. 인체면역결핍바이러스(HIV)의 감염된 세포 시스템에서는 통합의존적 과정을 차단하는 것으로 나타난다.[10][11]
아조엔은 광범위한 항균(항균 및 항균) 특성을 가지고 있다.[12][13][14] 예를 들어, 아조네는 보통 무좀으로 알려진 티네아 페디스의 가장 흔한 원인인 인간 피부과 식물인 트리코필톤 루브럼에 대해 활동을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.[13][15] 작용의 구체적인 메커니즘은 불분명하지만, 인간 피부생물의 인산염화합성 억제와 관련이 있다고 생각된다.[15] 레데즈마 외 연구진들에 의한 무작위화된 연구에서. 아조네는 교모세포 다형종 암줄기세포 치료제,[16] 폐선두암[17] 치료제, 급성 골수성 백혈병 치료제 항유혈증 치료제로 연구돼 왔다.[18] 아조네는 세포사멸을[19] 유도해 기저세포암종양 크기를 줄이는 한편, 이와 같은 세포의 미세관 사이토스켈레톤을 대상으로 종양세포 성장 억제에도 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.[20] 아조네는 정족수 감지에 의해 조절되는 유전자를 억제한다.[3][21][22]
