'시크릿 에이전트맨'은 P.F.슬론과 스티브 배리가 작곡한 곡이다.[1]이 곡의 가장 유명한 녹음은 1964년부터 1966년까지 비밀요원으로 미국에서 방영된 영국 첩보 시리즈 《위험한 남자》의 미국 방송의 오프닝 타이틀을 위해 조니 리버스가 만들었다.[1]리버스의 버전은 빌보드 핫 100에서 3위, 캐나다 RPM 차트에서 4위로 정점을 찍었는데, 이는 그의 생애 최고의 히트곡 중 하나이다.그 이후 수많은 커버와 각색 곡들이 녹음되었고, 이 곡은 록 스탠다드가 되었고 조니 리버스의 대표곡 중 하나가 되었다.

역사
