1918년과 1924년 사이에 토론토의 음악원들 사이에 일련의 합병들이 있었다. 토론토 음악대학은 1888년 지휘자 F.H.토링턴에 의해 설립되었으며, 토론토 대학 부속 최초의 음악원이 되었다. 1917년 토링턴이 사망한 후 1918년 캐나다 음악 아카데미에 합병되었다.[10] 아카데미 자체는 1911년 알버트 구더햄에 의해 설립되었는데, 그는 자신의 개인 재산으로 이 학교에 자금을 지원했고 13년 역사 동안 이 학교의 유일한 총장으로 활동했다. 아카데미는 1924년에 토론토 음악원으로 통합되었다.[11]

Post-war 성장

독립 기관

왕립 음악 개발 계획

마졸레니 콘서트홀
