판코니 빈혈은 인간에게 FANCI 유전자에 의해 인코딩되는 단백질이다.[5][6][7][8]FANCI 유전자의 돌연변이는 판코니 빈혈의 원인이 되는 것으로 알려져 있다.[9]
함수
The Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC) currently includes FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCD1 (also called BRCA2), FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCI, FANCJ (also called BRIP1), FANCL, FANCM and FANCN (also called PALB2).이전에 정의된 그룹 FANCH는 FANCA와 동일하다.판코니 빈혈은 세포유전학적 불안정성, DNA 교차연계제에 대한 과민성, 염색체 파손 증가, DNA 복구 결함 등이 특징인 유전적으로 이질적인 열성 질환이다.판코니 빈혈 보완 그룹의 구성원들은 염기서열 유사성을 공유하지 않는다; 그것들은 그들의 조립에 의해 공통의 핵 단백질 복합체로 연관되어 있다.이 유전자는 보충군 I을 위해 단백질을 인코딩한다.대체 스플라이싱은 서로 다른 ISO 양식을 인코딩하는 두 개의 대본 변형 결과를 낳는다.[5]
