2017년 뉴저지 주지사 선거는 2017년 11월 7일 치러졌다.7명의 [2]후보자가 있었다.뉴저지 주지사 후보들같은 표로 출마하여 동시에 선출된다.크리스 크리스티 현 공화당 주지사임기가 한정돼 있어 3연임에 도전할 수 없었다.

도지사 경선 후보들은 이른바 '매칭 펀드' 프로그램을 활용했다.최소 43만 달러를 모금한 사람들은 개인적으로 모금한 1달러당 2달러의 공적자금을 받을 수 있는 자격을 얻었다.주법에 따르면 매칭 펀드를 받을 자격이 있는 예비후보들은 최소한 두 번의 예비 토론에 참여해야 한다.같은 펀드를 구하지 않고 최소 43만달러의 자금 조달과 지출을 약속하는 후보자도 참가할 [10][11]수 있습니다.2017년 5월 8일 현재, 뉴저지 주민들로부터의 기부금 외에, 프라이머리 후보들은 10개의 다른 [12]주들로부터 기부금을 받았다.
