워해머 온라인: 히어로즈의 분노는 바이오웨어 미신틱이 개발하던 멀티플레이어 온라인 배틀 아레나였으며[1], 취소될 때까지 일렉트로닉 아츠 for 마이크로소프트 윈도즈가 출판하기로 되어 있었다.이 게임은 Warhammer Online을 기반으로 한 스핀오프였다. 에이지 오브 리코닝(Age of Calconing)은 플레이4 프리 타이틀, 일렉트로닉 아츠(Electronic Arts)의 프리 투 플레이 모델이었다.[2][3][4]

개발 및 릴리스
히어로즈의 분노는 2011년 8월 16일 게임스컴 2011에서 바이오웨어에 의해 발표되었다.[6]바이오웨어는 게임스컴에서 히어로즈의 분노에 대한 간단한 데모도 선보였다.이 게임은 2011년 PAX 프라임에서 8월 28일에 발표되었다.[7]
