1999년 4월 1일 윌리엄 E. 매티스 주니어는 건설허가를 델라웨어주 그린빌의 메디아캐스팅에 팔았다.[19][20]

2000년 3월 28일 FCC는 33원을 허가했다.40°04 k59″N 75°10′56″W / 40.08306°N 75.18222°W / 40.08306; -75.18222(W33BT)에서 ERP 20.3kW에 대한 BT 라이센스.[21][22]

2003년 11월 6일부터 2004년 중반 사이에 33BT는 침묵했다.[23][24][25]

2006년 7월 20일, WXSI-LP는 송신기가 고장 나서 대체 장치를 사용했기 때문에 ERP 1.5 kW에서 작동할 수 있는 STA를 허가받았다.[32][33]

2006년 10월 2일, 메디아캐스팅은 WXSI-LP를 텍사스 코퍼스 크리스티의 마코 커뮤니케이션스에 매각하였다.[34][35]

2006년 12월 7일부터 2007년 1월 3일까지, WXSI-LP는 필라델피아 롯스버러(Roxborough) 안테나 농장의 임대 및 건축 허가 완료를 종료한 후 침묵했다.[36][37][38]

2007년 2월 19일 WXSI-LP의 호출 부호가 WZPA-LP로 변경되었다.[6]

2012년 7월 16일, WZPA-LP의 호출 부호가 WZPA-LD로 변경되었다.[6]

2013년 6월, WZPA-LD는 51개의 저전력 텔레비전 방송국이 참여하는 대규모 거래의 일환으로 Landover 5에 판매될 예정이었다. 2016년 6월에 판매가 중단되었다.[42][43] 마코커뮤니케이션즈는 WZPA-LD 등 자사 방송국을 2017년 HC2홀딩스에 매각했다.[44]

2012년 6월 18일경 WZPA는 4개의 하위 채널로 디지털 프로그래밍을 시작하였고, DT1은 프로그래밍 없이 CUBANA가 되었다. 2012년 6월 19일, WZPA는 아즈테카 프로그래밍으로 다섯 번째 하위 채널을 추가했다.

2012년 6월 30일, DT1은 Cubana de Television 프로그래밍을 방송하기 시작했다.

2012년 10월 2일 컬러 바를 탑재한 6번째 서브채널을 추가했고, 다음 날엔 피스TV 프로그래밍을 시작했다.

2013년 2월 24일쯤, WZPA는 아즈테카 아메리카 프로그래밍으로 7번째 하위 채널을 추가했다.

2013년 2월 28일에서 3월 20일 사이에 DT1은 QVC 프로그래밍을 수행하기 시작했다.

2013년 3월 20~28일 사이에 DT5는 프로그래밍이 없었다.
