아이다호 차기 주지사를 선출하기 위한 2018 아이다호 주지사 선거가 11월 6일에 실시되었다.현재 공화당 소속인 부치 오터 주지사는 4선 불출마를 선택했고,[1] 주 예비경선은 5월 15일에 열렸다.[2]

폴렛 조던 전 주대표는 민주당 후보였다.그녀는 1970년에 처음 주지사로 선출된 세실 안드러스 이후 북부 아이다호 출신의 첫 민주당 후보였다.[3]

요르단은 현직 주지사 브래드 리틀에게 21.6%포인트 차로 패해 공화당의 7연승을 달렸다.

2018년 도지사 선거는 역대 최다인 60만5131표로 2014년(43만9830표)보다 37.6% 증가했다.종전 최고 득표율은 2010년 45만2535표였다.

게다가, 폴렛 조던과 크리스틴 콜럼의 민주당 티켓은 두 명의 여성이 탑승한 최초의 두 티켓 중 하나가 되었다.다른 하나는 하와이의 2018년 공화당 후보인 안드리아 투폴라와 마리사 콘스 주지사였다.
