야가르어, 야거어, 유게라어 등으로 표기되는 자게라어족은 유게라어를 사용하는 호주 퍼스트 네이션스족입니다.여러 방언을 포함하는 유게라어는 모턴 만에서부터 브리즈번을 포함한 투움바 산맥의 기초 지역에 이르는 전통적인 소유자들에 의해 사용되었습니다.
언어
유게라어는 두루발어파에 속하며, 브리즈번 지역의 언어들의 총칭으로 취급되기도 합니다.[2]호주 영어 단어 'yakka' ('hard yakka'에서와 같이 느슨하게 '일'을 의미)는 유게라어 (yaga, '열일')에서 왔습니다.[3]
브리즈번(미안진) 지역에서 사용되는 언어의 단어와 지명을 나열하는 여러 페이지를 제공한 톰 페트리에 따르면 [4]야그가르는 '아니오'에 대한 지역 단어였으며,[5] 원주민 언어에서 '아니오'에 대한 용어는 다양한 원주민 집단 간의 민족적 이름 차이의 표시입니다.[5] m진은 노스콰이에서 브렉퍼스트 크릭으로 이어지는 땅의 스파이크이며, 또한 그곳의 부족과 마찬가지로 미군툰으로 알려졌습니다.
