쿨카니

Kulkarni

쿨카르니(Marathi: कुलकर,,, Kannada: ಕುಲಕರಣಿಿ)는 인도의 마하라슈트라 주와 북부 카르나타카 주 출신 이다.'쿨카르니'라는 이름은 두 단어(쿨라카르니)의 합성어다. Kula는 "가족"을 의미하고, Karanika는 "아카이비스트"[1]를 의미한다. 전통적으로 쿨카르니는 세금 징수에 사용된 마을의 회계와 기록을 유지하는 사람들이 사용하는 호칭이었다. 쿨카르니의 호칭은 후에 탈라티로 대체되었다. 파르가나와 쿨카니 와탄(토지권)은 1950년에 폐지되었다.[2]

이 이름은 데스하사,[4][5] 카르하데와[6] 같은 이 주의 브라만[3] 공동체와 찬드라세니야 카야스타 프라부(CKP)[7] 공동체에서도 발견된다. 쿨카르니가 브라만이나 CKP였던 이유는 사무실의 경우 문해력이 필수적이기 때문이었다. 쿨카르니족은 마을 단위로 활동했지만 파르가나 수준에서 그는 "데슈쿨카르니", 데스판데 또는 나드카르니(카르나타카에서)로 알려져 있었다.[8]
