홀로그래픽 스튜디오

뉴욕 맨해튼 자치구에 위치한 홀로그래픽 스튜디오는 세계에서 가장 오래된 홀로그래피 갤러리다.[1] 홀로그래피의 선구자 중 한 명인 제이슨 사판(Jason Sapan)에 의해[2] 1979년에 설립되었다. 매장 전면 레벨 갤러리에는 세계 최대 규모의 모션 이미지 일체형 홀로그램 컬렉션이 전시되어 있다.[3] 갤러리에는 연예인 홀로그램 초상화 컬렉션을 비롯해 다양한 형태의 홀로그램 이미지가 전시돼 있다. 원통형 360° 부유영상, 지나가면서 변하는 다중 이미지 홀로그램, 컴퓨터가 만들어낸 홀로그램 등 참신한 홀로그램 아이템과 스티커도 다양하다. 갤러리 바로 아래에는 홀로그램이 생성되는 레이저 실험실이 있다.[4] 홀로그래픽 스튜디오는 맞춤형 홀로그램, 홀로그래픽 초상화를 제작하고 수업을 제공하며 투어를 운영한다.
역사
이 스튜디오는 1979년에 원래 대장간이었던 브라운스톤에 설립되었다. 현재의 건물은 혁명 장군 호라시오 게이트의 로즈 힐 영지의 일부였던 땅에 자리잡고 있다.
