Eopachyrucos는 중세 에오세부터 아르헨티나와 [1]우루과이의 올리고세 후기에 살았던 멸종된 인터테리어이드 노티게이트속이다.이 속 화석은 아르헨티나의 사르미엔토 층과 우루과이의 [2][3]프레이 벤토스 층에서 발견되었다.
분류법
Eopachyrucos는 1901년 플로렌티노 아메기노가 [4]아르헨티나의 사르미엔토 층에서 발견된 단편적인 유적에 기초하여 처음 이름을 붙였다.그는 원래 파키루코스(새벽 파키루코스)의 조상인 헤게토리아과(Hegotheriidae)의 일종으로 여겼지만, 최근의 연구 결과, 보다 구체적으로는 Interatheriinae 아과에 속하는 Interatheriidae과(Interatheriidae)의 일원인 것으로 확인되었다.
Interatheriinae의 다음 분지도는 Eopachyrucos의 [5]위치를 보여주는 Vera 등 2017에 기초한다.
