엘로페 주식회사는 콜로라도주 콜로라도스프링스에 본사를 둔 미국 회사로 의상과 액세서리를 디자인, 제조, 유통하고 있다.이름은 2013년 11월 상표를 붙인 문구인 'Everybody is Laughing on Planet Earth'의 약자다.[1]2016년 현재 이 회사 본사는 45명의 직원이 근무하고 있으며, 중국 광저우에 325명의 공장 직원이 추가로 근무하고 있다.[2]

역사

창간

케빈 존슨, 키스 존슨, 프랜지 푸는 네팔, 태국, 대만, 인도, 일본, 중국, 인도네시아를 배낭여행한 뒤 1993년 엘로페를 설립했다.여행 비용을 상쇄하기 위해 여행 중 구입한 상품을 시타델몰의 대여 키오스크에서 판매했고, 2주 만에 모자 1000개를 팔았다.[3]

월도월도5K

월도월도5K는 월도캐니언 화재에 이어 도피사원 첼리스 포스터가 설립했다.엘로페는 후원자로서 금전적, 직원적 지원 외에 월도와 웬다 의상을 할인된 가격으로 제공한다.모금된 기금은 "월도 캐년 복원, 재난 구호, 화재 복구, 야외 활동 및 산책로, 지역 사회의 열린 공간 유지"[18][19][20]로 향한다.

세인트 발드릭 재단
