개요

2017년 8월 4일 브라이스트하우스 파이낸셜이 메트라이프와의 분리를 완료하고 2017년 8월 7일 나스닥 증권거래소에서 'BHF'라는 상징 아래 거래를 시작했으며, 분리가 완료되자 메트라이프는 지분 19.2%를 보유했다.[4] 2018년 메트라이프는 메트라이프 부채를 보유한 4개 금융기관과의 출자전환으로 잔여 이자를 탕감했다.[5]

MetLife와의 분리

2016년 1월 메트라이프 주식회사는 생명보험과 연금상품 판매에 초점을 맞춘 이 회사의 U.S. 리테일 부문의 상당 부분을 분리하겠다는 의사를 밝혔다.[7] 새로운 기업으로의 분리가 표시된 기업에는 다음이 포함되었다.
