역사

성 요한 장로회

세인트필립 성공회

St Philip's Anglican church at 115 Cornwall Street (27°30′05″S 153°02′13″E / 27.5015°S 153.0369°E / -27.5015; 153.0369 (St Philip's Anglican Church)) in Thompson Estate (as the area was then known) was dedicated on 18 October 1886 by Archbishop of Brisbane William Webber. 건축가 존 헨리 벌리가 설계했고 J.W. 스트랜슨이 설계했다. 교회 종은 아브라함 플리트우드 루야(Abraham Fleetwood Luya)의 선물이었고 세례 폰트는 석공 앤드루 랭 페트리의 선물이었다.[69][70][71][72]

1888년 11월 4일 일요일 톰슨 에스테이트의 151 콘월 스트리트에서 웨슬리언 감리교회가 개교했다.[84] 웨슬리언 선데이 스쿨은 1887년 2월부터 리젠트 가에 있는 공회당에서 운영되었는데, 그 인기는 교회 건립을 결정하게 되었다.[85][86] 그 교회는 건축가 마크 테일러와 윌리엄 리커에 의해 설계되었고 미스터 C 토퍼가 건축했다.[87][88]

크랙넬 로드 지역에 B. G. 윌슨 부인과 W. G. 그라임스 부인의 집에서 주일학교가 개교하면서 연합교회 공동체가 형성되었다. 1899년 타라고긴디의 작은 교회 건물이 크랙넬 로드(현 유니팅 교회 부지 반대)로 이전되었고, 1901년까지는 공식적으로 개교하지 않았지만, 1899년 5월 30일에 그곳에서 첫 예배가 열렸다. 1915년까지 신도들은 반대편 부지(현재의 브리즈번 피지안 유니팅 교회 부지)를 500파운드에 구입하고 그 자리에 만세를 지었다. 1924년 현 부지에 교회 건물을 새로 짓기로 결정되면서 만세는 호라시오 거리로 이전되었다. 새 크랙넬 로드 조합 교회의 기초석은 A씨가 1925년 3월 21일 안치했다. 워커 그 교회는 1925년 6월 28일에 개교했다.[99] 건축가는 앳킨슨 앤 콘래드의 토마스 브레넌 페미스터 가겟이었고 계약자는 C. Brisbane Fijian Uniting Church (also known as Annerley Uniting Church and Stephens Fijian Uniting Church) is at 29 Cracknell Road (27°31′08″S 153°01′51″E / 27.5189°S 153.0307°E / -27.5189; 153.0307 (Brisbane Fijian Uniting Church)). 오스트레일리아 유니팅 교회의 남모레톤 노회 소속이다. 일요일 예배는 아침에 영어로, 오후에는 피지안에서 열린다.[101][102]

앤얼리 교회

메리 임마클레이트 교회(Mary Imaculate Church)는 1932년에 세워진 로마 가톨릭 교회다.

1959년 빌리 그레이엄 십자군은 교회와 그 일에 큰 영향을 미쳤다.[120]

입스위치 로드 부지에 있는 현 벽돌 아넬리 침례교회 건물의 기초석은 1965년 3월 13일 퀸즐랜드 침례교 연합 회장 필립 조셉 한콕스에 의해 공개되었다.[121] 1965년 6월 26일 토요일, 한콕스는 새 교회 건물을 개관하고 헌납하기 위해 돌아왔다.[120]
