1879년 11월 11일, 예롱필리 지부는 1879년 [2]사단 이사회법에 따라 퀸즐랜드 내에 74개의 지부 중 하나로 만들어졌다.1886년 10월 14일, 새로운 분할을 만들어 달라는 납세자들의 성공적인 청원에 따라, 스티븐스 분할은 예롱필리 [3][4][5]분할의 1번 분할에서 분리되었다.이사회는 6명으로 구성되었다(2개 분과별로 3명씩 선출). 1887년 [6]2월에 첫 번째 이사회 선거가 실시되었다.
