2 페르세이는 북부 별자리 페르세우스자리에 있는 이항성계로 태양으로부터 약 500광년 떨어져 있다.육안으로 볼 수 있는 시각적 크기가 5.70으로 보이는 희미한 청백색의 후아 항성이기 때문에 육안으로 볼 수 있다.[2]이 시스템은 11 km/s의 태양 중심 방사 속도로 지구로부터 더 멀리 이동하고 있다.[4]
