20 페르세이는 페르세우스 북쪽 별자리에 있는 시각적인 2진법으로, 파이 페르세이와 몇 도 떨어져 있다.그것은 육안으로 볼 때 겉보기 크기가 5.343인 희미한 황백색의 후이드 빛의 지점으로 보인다.[2]이 시스템은 시차를 기준으로 태양으로부터 약 230광년(71pc) 떨어져 있다.[1]그것은 지구로부터 +6 km/s의 태양 중심 방사 속도로 후퇴하고 있다.[5]

두 별의 궤도는 2차 항성이 1차 항성에 상대적인 위치를 바꾸는 것으로부터 계산되었다.두 사람은 31.6년마다 0.22아크초의 각 반조르 축과 0.7560의 편심률로 서로를 공전한다.[6]20개의 페르세이의 결합된 스펙트럼은 F형 주계열성의 스펙트럼과 일치하며,[3] 두 별은 태양의 1.5배인 동일한 질량을 갖는 것으로 생각된다.[7]20페르세이 C로 지정된 9번째 규모의 별은 이 쌍과 연관될 수 있다.[8]
