Sextortion

섹스트레이닝(섹스 앤 강탈)은 비물리적 형태의 강제력을 이용해 피해자로부터 성적 호의를 갈취한다. 섹스트레이닝(Sextravation)은 권력의 남용이 강요의 수단인 성적 착취의 광범위한 범주를 의미하며, 성적 이미지나 정보의 출시가 협박의 수단인 성적 착취의 범주를 가리킨다.[1]

권력 남용을 묘사할 때 사용되는 것처럼, 분리배당은 정부 공무원, 판사, 교육자, 법 집행요원, 고용주 등 권력을 위임받은 사람들이 그들의 권한 내에서 무언가를 부여하거나 보류하는 대가로 성적인 특혜를 갈취하려고 하는[2] 부패의 한 형태다.[3][4][5][6][7] 이런 권력 남용의 예로는 면허나 허가를 받기 위해 성접대를 요청하는 공무원,[8][9] 학생과 성관계를 위해 좋은 성적을 거래하는 교사,[10][11] 성접대를 취업 조건으로 삼는 고용주 등이 있다.[12]

섹스트레이닝(Sextravation)은 성적 정보나 이미지를 이용해 피해자로부터 성적 호의를 갈취하는 형태의 협박을 의미하기도 한다.[13] 소셜 미디어와 문자메시지는 종종 성적인 자료의 근원이며 그것을 다른 사람들과 공유하는 위협적인 수단이다. 이런 식의 분리수거의 한 예는 인터넷상에서 공유한 자신의 누드 이미지로 갈취당하는 것이다. 그들은 나중에 갈취하는 사람과 성행위를 하도록 강요받거나 카메라에서 포즈를 취하거나 성행위를 하도록 강요받아서 하드코어 포르노를 만들어낸다.[14] 이러한 협박 방법은 또한 그들의 진정한 성적 성향을 사적인 것으로 유지하는 성소수자들을 배제하는 데 자주 사용된다.[15]

웹캠 협박

역사

이 용어의 초기 용어는 1950년 캘리포니아에서 인쇄되었다.[24]

2009년 초부터 책임 있는 온라인·휴대전화통신연구소(iroc2.org)는 www.sextortion.org 등 라이브 이벤트와 웹사이트를 통해 '섹스트레이닝' 추세에 대해 대중에게 경고하기 시작했다. 이는 공유용으로 설계된 디지털 도구에 '프라이빗' 콘텐츠를 공유함으로써 발생하는 장단기적 결과를 제대로 파악하지 못한 채 영상과 영상을 절충해 개인이 공유하는 이른바 '섹싱' 트렌드의 탄생과 성장을 바탕으로 성장한 추세다.

2009년 국제여성판사협회(IAWJ)는 보스니아 헤르체고비나 여성판사협회, 필리핀 여성판사협회, 탄자니아 여성판사협회 등과 제휴하고 네덜란드 정부의 자금 지원을 받아 3년제 '권력 남용 중단' 프로그램을 시작했다.gh 성적 착취: 이름짓기, 샤밍, 엔딩 섹스트레이닝."[25] 2010년과[26] 2012년 IAWJ[27][28] 세계회의에 참석한 심사위원들과 2011년과[29] 2012년 유엔 여성지위위원회 회의에 참석한 NGO들을 대상으로 분리배분에 대한 발표가 이루어졌다.[3]

체코(2017년)의 유럽 등에서의 분리탈취 유행을 기술한 과학 연구도 있다.[30]

중국에서는 학생에 대한 약탈적 대출의 일환으로 분리수거를 하는 경우가 있다.[31]

2021년에 이집트에 카움이라는 단체가 있는데, 이 단체는 분리수거를 중단하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.[32]

사건

갈취,[33][34][35] 뇌물,[36] 배임, 부패,[37] 성적 강요,[38] 성적 착취,[34][39] 성폭행,[14][35] 아동 포르노,[35][40] 컴퓨터 해킹 및 감청 등 각종 형법상 배임 사건이 기소됐다.[41]

  • 당시 18세였던 위스콘신 주의 앤서니 스탠클은 2010년 2월 페이스북에서 여자아이로 포즈를 취해 고등학교 동창들에게 누드 휴대전화 사진을 보내도록 한 뒤 동성애자 성관계를 위해 이들을 갈취하는 데 사용한 혐의로 징역 15년형을 선고받았다.[35]
  • 앨라배마 주 오번 시의 조나단 밴스는 2010년 4월 페이스북과 마이스페이스에 3개 주 50여 명의 여성으로부터 누드 사진을 갈취하는 협박성 이메일을 보내 징역 18년을 선고받았다.[14]
  • 루이스 미장고스는 훔친 정보를 공개하지 않는 대가로 수십 대의 컴퓨터를 해킹하고 개인정보를 빼내거나 여성 피해자들에게 알몸 사진을 요구한 혐의로 2011년 9월 징역 6년을 선고받았다. 희생자 중 44명은 18세 미만이었다.[42]
  • 아이작 베이추(Isaac Baichu) 뉴욕주 연방 이민국 사무관이 실형을 선고받았다. 2010년 7월 22세 콜롬비아 여성에게 영주권을 대가로 성관계를 요구했다가 징역 1+1⁄2~4+1⁄2.[39]
  • 토론토의 이민 심사 위원인 스티브 엘리스는 2010년 7월 한국 여성에게 성관계의 대가로 난민 신청을 승인하겠다고 말한 후 18개월의 징역형을 선고받았다.[37]
  • 탄자니아의 중등교사인 마이클 냥과(Michael Ngilangwa)는 2011년 6월 시험성적 호혜를 대가로 제자에게 성상납을 요구했다가 벌금형 또는 징역 1년을 선고받았다.[38]
  • 앨라배마 주 몽고메리의 크리스토퍼 패트릭 건(31)은 가짜 페이스북 프로필을 이용해 수많은 주에서 미성년 소녀들의 누드 사진과 동영상을 갈취한 혐의로 기소됐다.[40] 그는 유죄 판결을 받은 후 연방 교도소에서 35년을 복역했다.[43]
  • 2010년 5월 스페인 바스크 국가 경찰은 온라인 채팅방에서 만난 여성을 협박하고 자신의 웹캠에서 누드 사진을 유포하겠다고 협박한 혐의로 24세 남성을 체포했다.[44]
  • 중국 공산당 간부 레이정푸가 한 여성과 성관계를 갖는 동영상은 범죄조직의 분리수거 음모의 일부였다.[45][46]
