Ubiquitin A-52 residue ribosomal protein fusion product 160S 리보솜 단백질 L40(RPL40)은 인체에서 UBA52 [4][5]유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질이다.
기능.
유비퀴틴은 고도로 보존된 핵 및 세포질 단백질로 26S 프로테오솜에 의해 분해되는 세포 단백질을 목표로 하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다.또한 염색질 구조의 유지, 유전자 발현 조절, 스트레스 반응에도 관여합니다.유비퀴틴은 폴리유비퀴틴 사슬 또는 비관련 단백질에 융합된 단일 유비퀴틴 부분으로 이루어진 전구 단백질로 합성된다.이 유전자는 N말단 유비퀴틴과 C말단 확장단백질(CEP)인 C말단백질 L40으로 이루어진 융합단백질을 코드한다.이 유전자로부터 유래한 복수의 가공된 의사유전자가 [5]게놈에 존재한다.
