스피로네마과(Spironemidae)는 편모충류에 속하는 편모충류 과이다.그것들은 타원형 헤미마스틱스 암피키네타(14×7μm)에서 스피로네마테리콜라(43×3μm)까지 크기와 모양이 다양하며, [1]키네티라고 불리는 두 줄의 섬모가 있어 결합된다.
계통학 분석에 따르면 헤미마스티고포라는 진핵생물의 고유하고 오래된 혈통으로 슈퍼그룹인 디아포레틱스와 [2][3]자매결연을 형성할 수 있다.
