순천 포위는 임진왜란(1592~1598) 말 순천 왜성을 함락하려는 한중 연합군의 시도가 실패로 돌아갔다.

포위 공격

연합군은 1598년 10월 19일에 공격했다.당초 그들은 코니시 유키나가와 평화협상을 꾀하여 그를 살해당할 수 있는 공터로 유인하려 했으나, 그들의 대포가 너무 일찍 발사되어 왜군이 요새로 귀환하자 실패로 돌아갔다.고니시는 다음날 류우에게 여성 동반자를 보내 공격을 지연시키려 했지만, 어쨌든 연합군은 공격했다.[2]동맹군은 3일 동안 계속 폭격을 퍼부었다.[1]연합군은 실패하는 정면 공격을 감행했고 일본군은 격퇴하여 명나라에 800명의 사상자를 냈으나 포위망을 뚫지는 못했다.[2]

천린과 이순신은 상륙을 시도했으나 일제의 포화에 밀려 뒤로 물러났다.그들은 10월 21일에 포기했다.[1]

결국 육해군은 10월 31일 합동 공격을 감행했다.불행히도 육지 공격은 첫 방어막을 지나가지 못했다.세 번의 시도 끝에 그 공격은 취소되었다.[3]

11월 1일 연합 함대가 요새를 폭격했지만, 많은 배들이 얕은 수렁에 빠져 공격을 받았다.그들은 39척의 배를 잃었다.[3]

이순신은 다음날도 해군의 공격을 계속했으나 아무 소용이 없었다.포위는 11월 2일에 해제되었다.[3]
